Michigan Plaza (Chicago, Illinois)

Michigan Plaza consists of two towers (alternative name Boulevard Towers).
The 25-floor Michigan Plaza North was completed in 1981 and the 46-floor, 553-foot Michigan Plaza South was completed in 1985. The local Fox affiliate WLFD and MyNetworkTV affiliate WPWR both operate from the South tower. Located beneath Michigan Plaza is the Illinois Center which contains retail stores and restaurants. There is also access to the Millennium Station of Metra Electric Line below.

Set back from Michigan Avenue by a small plaza. Before the plaza's renovation in 2000 the colorful sculpture "Splash" by Jerry Peart was its centerpiece (the sculpture was moved to suburban Schaumburg).
