Leasowe Castle

United Kingdom / England / Greasby /
 hotel, mock castle

Built in 1593 as a single octagonal observation tower to watch the horse races which took place on the large sands of Mockbeggar Wharf, it has seen many extensions over the centuries. The octagonal tower now serves as the main entrance to what is currently a 50-room hotel.
