Pocket Town, Pockettown or just "The Pocket" is a neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. It is the roughly triangular area south of Oak Woods Cemetery, between South Chicago Avenue (or the Norfolk Southern tracks, same diff) on the west and the Metra tracks on the east. Put another way, it includes the corners of 69th Street & Kimbark Avenue in the northeast, 71st Street, Cottage Grove Avenue & South Chicago Avenue on the west, and 75th Street, South Chicago Avenue & Woodlawn Avenue on the south. It is part of the Greater Grand Crossing "Community Area".
