  • This is the site of a temple dedicated to Lord Subramanya Ghati. The idol is decorated in a silver covering of a multi hooded snake. The area has many snakes. The chief and most auspicious occasion here is called Shreshti when many devotees arrive for worship and long lines are formed. Saturdays is the most preferred day for worship at this spot. Otherwise the place is one of quiet meditation and worship. The spot is very salubrious, except for the presence of numerous monkeys who do not waste an opportunity to snatch at the bananas and edibles carried by pilgrims.
