Poulter Country Park

This park is part of the environmental remediation scheme following the closure of the Langwith Colliery in 1978. It was built on the site of the tailings from the mine, and now provides a rolling landscape with planted wood areas and grass meadows intermingling with a network of pathways, giving visitors many good viewpoints of the surrounding countryside.
