This is the place upto road were,till 1960s and pilgrims used to walk from this place.Vridh Badri,one among the five Badris is on the way from Piaalkoti to Joshimath.Alt.4500 ft good place to have food and to stay.Lot of private and GMVN accomadation.Road onword from this place is difficult and heavy slides obstracting traffic.A unit of GRIF, A body of Border Road organisation,is stationed here permanently-described by Prabhat Tandon,Bareilly,UP,India
