Bunker (Indian Prairie) Cemetery

This cemetery is located in Keith Township, Wayne County, Illinois 38°35’04.14”N, 88°27’28.28”W, North of Rinard, Illinois and West of US Route 45. This cemetery, still in use, is also referred to as Indian Prairie Cemetery because it is across the road from the Indian Prairie Missionary Baptist Church which I understand is no longer standing, however the red-brick entry sign to the cemetery acknowledges this connection. This cemetery has often been confused with Bunker Hill Cemetery, some miles to the South East near or in Hamilton County, in the vicinity of McLeansboro.
