Par-70, 6,518-yard private golf course designed in 1929 by Alister MacKenzie and Perry Maxwell. Though consistently recognized as one of the top courses in the United States (Golf Digest ranked it #10 nationally for 2007-08), Crystal Downs has hosted only one notable tournament, the 1991 USGA Senior Amateur Championship.
Until 1990, the club entrance was marked by a large rock engraved "Gentiles Only".
