This field off of park avenue has been used in recent years as a rugby field for the Allegheny Rugby Club in matches with other colleges. It is also frequently used as a pracitce field for the Allegheny College Football team as well as parking for a variety of events (notably the Thurston Classic). During the winter months, this field is often used as a dump for many mounds of excess snow by snow plows, leading to a large residue of gravel on the field.
