Oia is a district of the province of Pontevedra in Galicia. It belongs to the Shire of low Miño. According to IGE, its population in 2005 was 3038 persons. The entire western fringe of the town hall overlooking the sea. The relief is marked by NS direction in the foothills of the Cordillera A Groba, reaching up to 600 meters and the narrow valleys that descend to the riverbank, consisting of a bare extensive coastline. Here is where they are located population centers (Oia, Viladesuso, Mougas) and limited arable land. In another valley parallel to the coast, between the mountains and de Lousã Corrubelo, are Lourenzá and Burgueira, parishes in which they are grown by exploiting the socalcos.
