St. Joseph’s Old Age Home is a residential home for the aged, the infirm and the destitute women of the society devoid of any discrimination of caste or creed. This Institution was established on 8th December 1972 at Pullazhy, around 7 km away from the Thrissur city with the purpose of providing care to the elderly destitute women. As a registered institution under the Board of Control for Orphanages and Other Charitable Homes, it renders selfless service to the needy and downtrodden. Being a pure charitable institution it runs with the financial aid from the State Government, Helpage India and with the benevolence of the local beneficiaries who render a lion share of the fund.
