The main church of Panagia Kyra (Our Lady the Virgin Mary) is located near the small village of Livadia,Famagusta. The temple, a cross in sguare church ,had in the arch of the sanctuary, which belongs to an earlier Christian basilica ,a mosaic of the principles of the 7th century.It was pictured the Virgin Mary in gold background upright, with arms raised in supplication, and without Christ.It was preserved also little section of murals.The wooden iconostasis was burned in 1957-1958.The mosaic and the frescoes were destoyed in 1982.
