  • The Turtle Bay was kind of run down when Hilton ran it. Unusual for Hilton since every other Hilton I stayed in was outstanding. I understand that the new owner and management of Turtle Bay has really spruced it up quite a bit. I haven't seen the remodel though. My advice, don't stay here if you can't deal with a constant, ceaseless wind. The trade winds are strong on this side of the island, and they don't give up. At the very least, get a southwest facing room. That way you avoid the endless wind noise whistling around the balcony door frame all night long.
