Waimea Valley is a 1,800-acre property on the North Shore of Oʻahu. The Office of Hawaiian Affairs acquired this property as a way of preserving the land for its cultural value, to protect traditional and customary rights, and to perpetuate the Native Hawaiian people and culture. OHA has since transferred title to the property to Hi‘ipaka LLC, which now manages all activities in Waimea Valley.
