This is the largest tertiary hospital in Ghana. It also hosts the University of Ghana Medical School and also institutions for training all categories of health staff

The hospital was commissioned on 9 October 1923. It now has over 2000 beds in its various departments making it a very very large hospital indeed!

  • I am checking to see if you are treating a patient (little boy) by the name of Shalev Abban. He was admitted for a heart procedure about 6 weeks ago but now is being treated on an outpatient basis. He has a follow-up appt today. I know because of law that no info can be realeased I am just wondering if him and his mom showed up from Temale as they had to travel to get there on Monday. His appt is Tues.
