This is owned by the National Sports council and is the home of Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics football clubs. Ghana won the African Cup of Nations for the third time in this stadium in 1978.
Originally known as the Accra Sports Stadium, it has now been renamed the Ohene Djan Stadium in honour of one of the successful sports administrators of the Nkrumah era.
