Colorado Springs City Auditorium was originally constructed in 1923. Its design was a collaboration between a trio of prominent Colorado Springs architects: Charles E. Thomas, Thomas MacLaren, and Thompson D. Hetherington. The building continues to be used for a wide variety of events, including graduations and trade shows.
It's also home to the Lon Chaney Theatre - named for the film actor Lon Chaney Sr., who was born in Colorado Springs. The entrance to the Lon Chaney Theatre is on Weber Street.
