This anchor store was built by Sears in the early 1980s replacing their stores in Norristown and Ardmore. Also built at this time was the part of the Plaza which includes the lower level food court.

The Sears closed in 2014 and was then replaced by Primark on the first floor and Dick's Sporting Goods on the second floor.
