The Overlook neighborhood is home to many different ethnic enclaves including the Hasidic Jew neighborhood of Columbia Boulevard. There is also a large population of Irish Americans in the north end of Overlook. The neighborhood is known for its historic victorian homes, and is considered to be Waterbury's Historic district.
