  • The place is not ILRAD HQ, but ILRI (International Livestock Reserach Institute). ILRAD (which was head-quartered in Nairobi) and ILCA (head-quartered in Addis) merged to form ILRI.
  • Spent many a fine evening and weekend at ILRI, playing tennis and sucking down the occasional Bedele beer. Fine place - hope the coach, Berhanu, has kept up the maintenance on the clay court. Circa 1996 they were the best in the city.

  • Yeah, i work here and the place was always looked clean and attractive. Every time i go there it felt like i was in the USA or something. Oh, they pay good too. Good old days.
