Hopkins Ridge Wind Farm is located about 35 miles (56 km) northeast of Walla Walla, Washington, and about 11 miles (18 km) WSW of Pomeroy. Commissioned in November 2005 with 83 turbines and in 2008 with an additional 4 turbines (located more or less "in the middle"), it now consists of 87 Vestas V80/1800 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 156.6 MW.
