Originally a Romanesque church from the period around the 1135 was rebuilt in the forst half of 14th century to the Gothic church of three naves. In 1421 was severely damaged and in the years 1613-1614 Renaissance reconstructed. In the years 1765-1772 it underwent a baroque reconstruction in accordance with the project architect J.Wirch of Prague. The main altar of the church has been in Rococo style from 1781.
