Batufa Small town located on the High land in Guli tribal land and it consider the center of Guli area in addition to Bekova. Batufa Have large population comparing the surrounding area, its also shopping center for the rural area, it have small market serve the need of people around Batufa.

Batifa (Batufa in Kurdish) is one of the aspects of the Zakho district in Dohuk governorate in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. An area of 208 km square area and the associated 73 villages destroyed all in the Anfal campaign. There in the town, approximately 15 locations by the Directorate of archaeological traces of Dahuk, including: Castle Shabani, Kashani Castle, and Castle Bajoine, and a bridge on the River Khabur Nzdora and built in the reign of princes Albhdinyin. And the effects of Crete and Bekova. The city has an avarage population of 23.000 people.
