This bus stand is for all buses to Mettupalayam/Ooty. Construction is going on now. Once functioning, all the Mettupalayam buses will be prevented from entering the City center and clogging up the roads.

  • Yes, the NEW BUS STAND on Mettupalayam Road is fully functional from 2011, but the air-conditioned waiting halls are kept locked (perhaps due to misuse by vagabonds); and autorickshaw drivers outside the Bus station fleece customers by charging arbitrary fares; which is a great dampener for any visitor to Coimbatore.
  • Is there frequent bus available from mettupalayam to coimbatore in night.
