Nectiny Castle (Hrad Nečtiny)

Neogothic Tudor-style castle was rebuilt in the years 1855-1858 in the place of the former barocco castle building. U based castle with monumetal battlemented towers and gables gets to it very romantic appearance. In close surroundings of the castle is the large natural ladscape park with the ponds and high-grown clusters of trees, oaks, wahoos, ashes, chestnuts etc. In close neighbouhood of the castle are the rest of ruins of the Preitenstein castle and monumental neogothic mausoleum of the last owner Mensdorff-Pouilly family. At present the castle is in the property of West Bohemian University in Plzen as a teching and housing facility. Hotel services to public available.
