  • I am trying to make contact with an old friend of mine, Tan Lip Kee. He was a member of the Chinese Swimming Club when I lived in Penang from 1964 to 1968. My name is Janine (Jani) Howley and I visited the pool almost every day with my sister, Geraldine(Gerry).We were made so welcome by everyone there and had a special friendship with Ong Guan Siew. When we left for England, we told no one that we were going, so left without saying goodbye, it would have been just too hard to do.We lived in Penang while our Father was stationed there,he was in the RAF. We lived on Tanjong Bungah Rampai. I have many wonderful memories of living on that beautiful Island and of the good friends that we had there.Gerry and I attended the Convent school on Light St.If anyone knows anything of Lip Kee or recognizes me in this message please email me, I would be so pleased to hear from you.   • Do you know my dad Mr Wooi Cheng Keat who is the capt life guard at that time. There was a beach at Tanjung Bungah and Kilat club where many RAAF swims there. Another friend from Australia Andrew Place who dad works in RAAF from 1976 .Catch me on facebook Timothy Wooi.
