Aris (historically also called Boisa) is a volcanic island just northeast of Manam, in Madang Province, Papua New Guinea. It stands about 240 m (787 feet) above sea level. Judging from its classic conical shape, it has erupted at some time in the last 10,000 years. Currently it shows no activity.
