St. Michael's Gate

It is the only one that has saved of the four fortified gates of towers, that they made from income the surrounded medioevale city from walls erected to fortification of the city. The construction of the door of St Michael began in the 13th century and the tower was erected in the years between 1529 and 1934. In the half of the 18th century, one cupola of branch to double quantity shape turban in baroque style was placed in top to the tower. Today, to the inside of the construction, a museum of ancient crews is found and it can be gone up in top to the tower for being able to admire the panorama of the historical center of Bratislava.
