The power station has a combined output of 396 MW from 7 conventional thermal steam turbine generating units burning heavy fuel oil and diesel. There are 3 generating units each with an output of 33 MW and a further four units rated at 66 MW. Additionally there are 2 packaged gas turbines with outputs of 14 MW and 19 MW.
