bridge, railway bridge
Stone arch bridge originally built by the Pennsylvania Railroad for its Schuylkill Valley branch, it was abandoned by Conrail, along with the majority of the associated rail line, in the late 1970s.
The bridge was re-purposed in the early 2000s and is now open to foot, bike, and vehicle traffic. The bridge has a separate foot/bike path that carries the Schuylkill River Trail.
