Built in 1962, it was intended to serve as a storage and repair facility for vehicles of the University fleet, and it has served that purpose to date. There are five vehicle bays under cover and parking for up to 20 vehicles within the fenced area. A separate welding shop is also located in the facility. Renovations were made in 1998 to bring the facility into compliance with new environmental regulations.
