The Biggers House was built between 1850 and 1855 by a local builder and carpenter named Nathaniel Austin. In 1883, the house was purchased by Bishop Quince Biggers, who operated it as a hotel and livery until 1897. Acquired by Edinboro University Services, Inc., both the interior and exterior were extensively renovated in 1989.
The building currently houses the offices of Graduate Studies and Research.
