  This is the place of an eminent educationist and rtired Principal of a Degree College, at Hyderabad Dr. Ravula Vasudeva Reddy. He has written text books for intermediate and degree students, served in the subject committee of Board of Intermediate Education, govt. of A P, rendered service to Telugu Akademi, govt. of A P as honorary consultant in commerce, supervised the work on a book on justice and justicing terms and phrases and also reviewed three research monographs which were published in The Asian Economic Review, Hyderabad. He had also attended several seminars, presented research papers. Other notable personalities are Ravula Raghuveer Reddy who was the first person to do B.E and went to Us when going there was a district level news. Ravula Krishna Reddy got selected to Indian Information Service"("IIS)which is next best to IAS. He had retired as News Editor Door Darshan Delhi. The other intelligent guy born here is Ramasahayam Ashok Reddy who had completed M.Sc(Ag) and presently working as Branch Manager, Syndicate Bank, Avangal, Warangal District.
