Aryadurga Temple (Pandavkalin Temple)

The villages Tervan and Bhoo both are on south east side of Arya Durga Devi temple and about 12 Kms and 10 Kms away from the temple respectively. Kotapur is about 2.5 Kms from the Temple to the east. The village Bhalavali is close to Devihasol in the south west side. Shri Navdurga devi temple is located in Bhalavali. Every year on Margashirsh vadya ashtami Shri Navdurga devi comes to meet Shri Aryadurga devi and stays overnight in Shri aryadurga temple. A mammoth Jatra in which more than 20000 Bhaktas participate ends on next day in the evening. Also Navaratri and Dasara are celebrated in the temple. Shri.Aryadurga is not only Kulswamini of many Karhade Bramhins but also Kulswmini of Goud Saraswat Bramhin families like Kamat,Dhempe(Dempo),Kabe,Tinaiker ,Karande etc. Shri Aryadurga is gram daivat of Wagle family.   • The main temple of the Aryadurga is situated in the Anjidive Island near Karwar now this Island is under the custody of Sea bird Navy. Wherein its original place. When she left the islant she has stayed one day in Binga near Karwar and there after she left to Ankola during the way one of the land mark in Arga (Sankrubag) near road when she asked one farmar who prepareing the pady ground she asked way to go ankola he showed her with leg where he and his two bufellow are being stone their still remains their.
