Served as the offices of whoever currently owned the studio: Thomas Ince, David O. Selznick, Cecil B. DeMille, Desilu, and more.

Also has served as an exterior location for many movies, but was not, contrary to the rumor, Tara, the mansion from Gone with the wind. That was on the back lot.

Was recently vacated in 2009 by Sony Picture TV Executives including Steve Moskow the president of Sony Pictures Television who's office was on west side of the second floor. Before the construction of the Harry and Jack Cohan buildings on the Sony Lot, SPTV rented out space in several buildings on the Culver Lot.

Currently occupied by Amazon Streaming, who is now the major tenant on the lot, along with Apple TV.

    The front exterior of this building was used in some scenes of the 1960's TV series "Batman", as were others areas of the 40 acres backlot located just a few blocks behind and to the south of this location.
