Formerly the great Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios, it is now the home of Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictues, and Tri-Star Pictures. Built by Thomas Ince in the early part of the 20th century. Ince merged with D.W. Griffith and Mack Sennett forming Triangle Studios.

Subsequently owned by Samuel Goldwyn, and (as a result of mergers and acquisitions) MGM, then Lorimar Telepictures before being purchased by Sony. Is also the home of Columbia Pictures and Tri-Star Pictures, both Sony companies.
