There is an ever increasing number of communications masts on Three Rock taking advantage of the fact that it overlooks the centre and SE of Dublin City.

These two masts belong to Eircom and RTE. The stubbier mast is Eircom and was also used by RTE up until about 2004. The very large thin mast is RTE Networks. Outside and to the right of whats known as the 'compound' (just follow the path) you'll find another broadcast tower. This building is quite unusual looking as its been designed to look like a Martello Tower. It even has windows (an unsual feature for most non manned facilities). This tower belongs to Bord Gais and is also used for FM broadcasting by Radio na Life 106.4FM.
