Bishop Botros purchased 100 acres of desert land, 20 Km east of Heliopolis , on the Cairo Suez Road , at Km 31-32, and called it the Charity Isle of Patmos (CIP) or Patmos Land . OCRS and CIP host the following services:

Bible Study by Correspondence (BSC)

St. John the Beloved Institution for Social Services (JBISS)

The Cheerful Heart Centre for the Mentally Disabled (CHC)

St. John the Beloved Publishing House (JBPH)

Other CIP activities include Church services, nunnery, spiritual retreat facility, olive and palm tree plantation, chicken farm, and workshops (carpentry, floor tiles, printing press).
Medium and long term plans include a hospital, an orphanage, a school, a centre for physical disabilities (e.g., deaf and blind people), a Braille printing press, and many more..
