See the colourful autumn scenery whilst cruising on the Oi Dam Lake, one of the Japan Tourist Board’s top 100 scenic beauty spots. The best time to see the autumn colours is between early and mid-November. The cruise costs 1,250 Yen for adults, 630 Yen for children; the boats can seat 50, and the cruise takes 30 minutes. It is open all-year-round; between April and November cruises depart every 30 minutes from 9:00 to 16:00; between December and March from10:00 to 14:30.
Access: JR Ena Station off the JR Chuo Line then a Totetsu Bus bound for Ena Kyo (恵那峡). Get off at the last stop (see right). By car: 10 minutes from Ena IC off the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道). For more information and group reservations call the cruise company at 0573-25-4800 (Japanese only).
