1905_construction, presbyterian church
First Presbyterian was established in 1787 on land donated by the heirs of William Penn. The current building -- the congregation's fourth on the site -- was constructed in 1903-1905 in a style reminiscent of English Gothic.
The church is notable for its stained-glass windows, thirteen of which were created by the famous Tiffany Studios.
