On the shore of the Northumberland Strait, the park offers an attractive mixed woodland setting for camping. Walking on trails, swimming or beachcombing are enjoyable pastimes at the park. This park offers some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas. Open from June 20 until October 13 (for the 2008 season) and offers a 42-site woodland campground, picnic areas, showers/comfort station, and a walking trail leading to the unsupervised beach area.
