  • This place gives the historcal detail at least 3000 years back going to pre-Maurya period. Some people say that the place was perhaps a frontal military camp of Maurya rulers or Pal rulers of Bengal. But there are theories of its belonging to ancient Mithila Kingdom going as far back to mythological king Janak or Videh of Mithila. The site needs much excavation to reveal its mysteries because it is the rare historical site in this region which is so ancient. There are villages nearby having historical names. There is a village called Phoolvaria in the east, Garhi in the north east, Bhupatti in the west and the Ramanipatti in the south-west. Government ha snot paid much attention to this place except connecting it with nearby village Khojpur 1.5 KM northward. Last time when its excavation took place it was perhaps 1976 when Karan Singh was the minsiter of culture at centre. The MP of Madhubani Bhogendra Jha and President of local activist group Kudal Sena, Sitaram jha made much efforts for its excavation.
  • BASICALLY THIS IS SITE OF ALLAH RAMERAHIM SHUBHANALLAH
