New York-New York Hotel & Casino

USA / Nevada / Paradise / South Las Vegas Boulevard, 3790

Overlooking the northwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard S. and Tropicana Avenue, the New York New York Hotel-Casino is one of Las Vegas' more noticeable spots. The exterior facade resembles the skyline of Manhattan, with the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn Bridge among the more prominent features.

Interior aspects are named for such New York City landmarks as Central Park, the East Village, and Coney Island. Two well-known NYC businesses, Coyote Ugly and ESPN Zone, have locations inside.

Attached to the structure is a fully functional roller coaster, originally dubbed the "Manhattan Express." Soaring and looping around the casino-hotel's exterior, the trains are decorated to reflect common Yellow Taxicabs.

New York New York is connected via elevated pedestrian walkway to its sister property MGM Grand (to the east, across Las Vegas Boulevard S.) and the Excalibur (to the south, across Tropicana Avenue). The property rests near the Tropicana Avenue interchange of Interstate 15.
