Carrying forward the Traditional Neighborhood Design principals and traditional town planning concepts successfully used in developing Tustin Field I, John LaingTustin Field II satisfies the City’s desire to achieve 189 units low density detached residential densities, while creating an environment that remains very open and pedestrian friendly. The design concept for the Tustin Field development is derived from a multitude of influences – the unique and storied history of the Air Station, the historic core of Tustin, and the nostalgic past of the agriculture industry in the region.

The residential mix is as follows:

· 138 Detached Single Family Homes
· 51 Patio Homes

A total of 40 affordable units, including 11 very low income Units, 10 low income units and 19 moderate income units are proposed to be provided within the patio home product. The approximately 37 acre site also includes a 1.7 acre recreational area including a swim center, 2.5 acres of commonly owned open space, access to a future Regional Park trail system and is centrally located to regional shopping and transportation facilities.
