  • This is the Saint Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Cairo, Egypt. The Church was established in early 20th century and at one time served up to 30,000 Armenians; most of them migrated to Egypt after the Turkish Genocide of Armenians in 1915. In 1895, Armenians also flocked to several Middle-Eastern countries, escaping the Turkish earlier genocide.
