Temple of Ramesses III (Luxor)

The temple of Ramesses III (c. 1184-1153 BC) was built south of the main axis of the temple of Amun-Re as an elaborate bark shrine. Inscriptions inside the temple show the king slaughtering captives, whilst Amun-Re looks on.
