Saddle Rock is a village in the Town of North Hempstead, NY that was incorporated in 1911. It is located on the west side of the Great Neck Peninsula and is commonly thought to be a part of Great Neck since it shares the 11023 zip code. The name comes from a boulder (pictured above) in Little Neck Bay that is shaped like a riding saddle.
