Official Residence of the Provincial Governor of North Chungcheong Province in Cheongju was built in 1939.

The central corridor divides the building into a reception area in the front and a residential area to the rear. Built in the Western style, the reception area in the front has European style windows and doors, while the residential area in back is built in the Japanese style with tatami floors. The hipped roof features eaves at various heights.
