About CIC
The Canadian International College (CIC) was established in 2004, and is the first Canadian college in Egypt. CIC has programs in Business, Engineering and Mass Communication and grants both Canadian university degrees, and Egyptian degrees accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. CIC's admission standards comply with admission requirements at its Canadian counterparts, CIC's ongoing quality assurance measures ensure CIC students receive the same programming as their counterparts in the Canadian Universities.
CIC Offers A Dual Degree
CIC offers both Canadian and Egyptian degrees, which students can earn at the same time. CIC's Canadian degrees are issued directly from the Canadian University, and are identical to the degrees received by Canadian students there. CIC's Egyptian degrees are accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
Professional Experience While Study (Co-operative Education Program)
It is CIC's mission to play a key role in the technological advancement of Egyptian industry. CIC is striving to provide industries with well-educated employees possessing the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience needed for such advancement.
The co-operative education internship program gives students the opportunity to enrich their education by alternating periods of classroom study with up to four periods of off-campus work experience. CIC provides its students with internship opportunities in some of the leading businesses in Egypt. Each work experience period is two-and-a-half to four months in duration, and involves students in supervised, paid, full-time work related to their areas of study.
The combination of theory and practice during the academic year provides a meaningful context for learning, in addition to providing students with the necessary skills to excel in their fields. CIC has mutual agreements with major local, Arab and international companies to provide Co-op jobs for its students.

canada tripAt CIC, we offer students the opportunity to transfer to Canada during the course of their studies. Upon completion of their studies, CIC students enrolled in the joint program are eligible for post-graduate studies anywhere in the world. CIC students graduating from Canada may apply for a Work Permit in Canada, enabling students to work in Canada for up to two years.
CAMPUS LIFE AT CIC
As much as CIC expects students to learn and excel in their academic studies, it also encourages them to live a full and well-rounded student life within the college. This is available through the diverse extracurricular activities offered by CIC.
CIC's Students' Union initiates programs and activities to serve both students and the community.
Students are encouraged to set up additional student clubs and organizations, which give them the opportunity to get to know other students, get involved in activities they enjoy, and share their interests with others.
CIC has a basketball court, a volleyball court and a soccer field. CIC has various sports teams. Students are encouraged to play, whether on a competitive level, or just for fun. An equipped gymnasium is also available for student use.
