  • Biggest disgrace of New Brunswick and Canada? Nuclear plants have the lowest carbon footprint out of ANY generating station. Not to mention that now-a-days nuclear power plants have multiple safety systems which would prevent a disaster such as Chernobyl. Get your facts straight, you dolt. Why don't you focus your hate on the fertilizer plants in the northern part of the province, whose by products are extremely toxic and cancerous. Radiation is no joke, and can be quite harmful, but nuclear power plants these days are so advanced that the risk of a radioactive release is very, very minimal.
  • So the toxic garbage floating toward the north American coastline from Japan doesn’t qualify me as getting my facts straight, you dolt. Four years ago I warned you and the no nothings! A seagull will drop the finger bone of a radiated dead Japanese child in your yard, your dog will eat it with delight then sit on your coach beside your little child, then you wonder why he is sick. Need I say anymore?
  • A disaster like Fukushima is not going to happen with a CANDU reactor, as their design makes a meltdown impossible. Additionally, even considering Chernobyl, Fukushima, etc., coal still causes exponentially more deaths per megawatt generated.
  • People who are anti-nukes are always the ones that know little about nuclear. Nuclear is by far the best sources of electricity we have. It's safe as there's only ever been 3 serious nuclear accidents in history. It even creates hundreds of jobs. Also we still have 200 years of Uranium left so why not use it while we still have it.
